Christmas tree and program Sun-
day afterrioon at the church. Can-
dy and nuts were distributed at the
close of the afternoon.
More than 100 youngsters attend-
ed the traditional Christmas tree
[and program at St. Mary's Catho-
cite church Sunday afternoon. Reci-
tations and musical numbers were
given and Santa Claus was present
to distribute ',ifts, candy and ap-
ples.

Catherine, Sa. Paul, Kcitha, a stu-
dent nurse at St. Mary's h,)spital,

A Christmas party was given at
the girls dormitory of th: Walsh
County School for the 18 girls who
live there during the school year.
A decorated tree was a feature of
the event, gifts were exchanged
and carols were sung. The girls
were served a Christmas dinner
with all the trimmings Tuesday at
noon.

Thiele and Jake Mater belatedly
report a trukey dinner which was
served November 30 for the Order
of the Rainbow for Girls at the
Masonic temple, The Order now has
19 members and four new ones
were initiated at that time. They
were Marlene Bjorneby, Marjorie
Midgarden, Janice Gillespie and
Carol Turner.
