CHASE BORDEN FALY BENEFIT, ADN5 There will be a Free Will Offering Baked Potato Bar and Silent Auction Benefit for the Chase Borden Family to help the family with major medical bills. The benefit will be on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 5-7pm at the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church in Adams. Chase Anthony Borden was born September 27, 2013 at Altru in Grand Forks, ND. Chase was born with a Intraventrical Brain Hemorrhage, which is a stage 3 brain bleed. He was then Life Flighted to the Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Chase has had 2 major surgeries; One to drain the blood on his brain, and one to apply a shunt for the spinal fluid to drain into his abdomen where his body can absorb it. His shunt is a permanent fixture in his body and will need constant care. Donations can be made to the Gate City Bank in Park River ND in Chase's name.
