Chase was born with a Intraventrical Brain Hemorrhage, which is a stage 3 brain bleed. He was then Life Flighted to the Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Chase has had 2 major surgeries; One to drain the blood on his brain, and one to apply a shunt for the spinal fluid to drain into his abdomen where his body can absorb it. His shunt is a permanent fixture in his body and will need constant care. Donations can be made to the Gate City Bank in Park River ND in Chase's name.
