O'Shea, 47. of Eagan, MN, for- merly of Park River, ND, passed away Wednesday, Octo- ber 17. 2012, at his home surrOunded by his loving fam- ily. Steve fought a courageous battle with cancer but too many complications won out. Steve was born in Grafton, ND on March 18. 1965 to Richard and Judy (St. Gennain) O'Shea. A week after Steve was born, the family moved to Park River, ND. He graduated from Park River High School in 1983. After graduation he left to play hockey for the Sioux City Muskateers in Sioux City, IA. After playing there for two years he moved to Bemidji, MN, at- tending Bemidji State University where he played goalie for the Beavers for four years. After graduating t om Bemidji, Steve married Kim Abilieter of Hib- bing, MN on September 9, 1989 in Hibbing. Steve worked in the computer industry for 23 years, owning Shea's Technologies and Netrix tbr a time; he then worked for Hewlett Packard becoming one of their top salesmen and accountant for the Minnesota Dis- trict. He was an avid all around sports fan actively playing, coaching youth hockey and so enjoyed watch- ing his children excel in their activ- ities. He loved hunting and fishing trips with his son and father and family vaca- tions to Kim's parents Bob and Barb Sarff's home in Florida. Steve is survived by his wife Kim: 3 children, Ryan, 20, Tay- lor. 16 and Emily, 14, all of Eagan; his parents, Richard and Judy of Park River: as well as numerous relatives and friends who will miss him immensely. In lieu of flowers memorials arc preferred to: Steve O'Shea Family or the American Cancer Society. Services were held Monday, October 22, 2012 at St John Neu- man Catholic Church in Eagan. A Memorial Mass for Steven O'Shea will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Park River. PRFL Aggie Volleyball Team, Coaches and parents Herbert Edwin Enns - Herbert Edwin Enns was born Au- gust 24. 1911 in Reedley, CA to Peter D. and Katherine (Koop) Enns. The family moved to Shafter, CA, where they were active mem- bers of the Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church. Herb's hap- piest memories were those of his days in the Young Adult Sunday School Class, the Male Chorus, arid playing the accordion. On December 31, 1933, Herb married Evelyn Boese and they made their home in So. CA. Two daughters were born tn h;o union, Kathleen and Claire Rene. Herb was a master of all trades. working in the shipyards during the war, then welding and sheet metal, plum,bing, landscaping, heating and air conditioning, and real estate. He took great joy in Simply helping people. Herb was an active lnember of Lutheran Church of Our Savior in San Clemente, CA, serving as Presi- dent of the Congregation and singing in the choir. When Evelyn passed away in 1966. Herb continued living in Orange Co. until his retirement to Redding, CA. In 1992 he de- cided to live near family in Everett, WA and then Ortonville, MN before settling in Park River in 2009. His last move was to the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Park River. He was very thankful for,' the good ceived there;, was CompletelY at peace in hiss, last days. Herb passed away Tuesd,ay, Nov. 20, 201.2 at the age of;:.J0.1 ! ; Herb is survived by his'daughter and son-in-law, Dave and Claire Rene Hinrichs of Park River, ND: Grandchildren Steve (Stephanie) Meehan of Monticello. UT; Kevin Meehan of Idaho: Terry (Jana) Meehan of Salem, OR: Pat (Sharon) Mee- han of Castro Valley, CA: Tim (Julie) Meehan of Springfield. ~: Timothy (Renata) Hinrichs of Mankato, MN; Christine (Timothy) Gilmore of Musoma, TZ; Bethany (Jerelny) Setness of Park River, ND; Rachel Hinrichs of Grand Forks. ND: 20 Great Grandchildren; brother Paul Enns of Bakersfield, CA: and nieces and nephews He was pre- ceded in death by his wile Eve- lyn; daughter Kathleen Land: his parents, Peter D. and Katherine Enns, brother. John Enns; 3 sis- ters. Frieda Nikkel. Elsie Sieman and Catherine Hamln, and on.e Great Grandson, Pard Hinrichs. Funeral services were Satur- day, November 24.2012 at 1:00 RM. at the Victory Free Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation was for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
