Thanks- giving in Park River is a community affair. The Park River Bible Camp will be host to the Western Walsh Min- isterial's Thanksgiving Service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Our Saviour's Lutheran Church will host the Thanksgiving Day Dinner starting at noon on Thursday, Nov. 28. It has become a tradition in Park River that the Ministerium and the local churches come together to pro- vide a traditional turkey dinner. The invitation is open to anyone. To help prepare for the meal, reser- vations are requested if possible by Nov. 24 for those who can either at- tend the meal, need a ride, or would like a meal delivered. Reservation forms can be found at area churches or at the City of Park River website: ctisp6. In addition to reservations, the form also offers the opportunity to make donations of cash; food items of butter, Cool Whip, cranberries, green beans, or sweet potatoes; or a simple donation of time.
