Page 4 Post-Fair Supplement, November 19, 2014 Under inspection Lain/Biri Brandon Houser from lhe Made in lhe USA Kids 4-H Club explains his woodwoddng project to lhe judge. 4-H raffle winners announced Walsh County 4-H'ers raised over $2500 to support the coun- ty 4-H program by selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of several prizes, thanks to the gen- erous donations from Citizens State Bank of Park River, Dundee Mutual Insurance Co., and Park River Implement. A jacket, donated by Citizens State Bank, was won by Allie Beneda Lankin. A Honda hand tiller, donated by Park River Im- plement, was won by Steve Humphrey, Park River. Robert Cudmore, Park River won the hand-made quilt made by Im- manuel Lutheran Church and, donated by Dundee Mutual In- surance, and Tim Zikmund, Pisek won $ 100 donated by theWalsh County 4-H Council. Justin Pic from the Made in the USA Kids 4-H club was the top ticket seller.Justin sold 8 books of tickets and received $25 from the Walsh County 4-H Council for his efforts. Thank you to all who sup- ported the Walsh County 4-H program by purchasing raffle tick- ets fromWalsh County 4-H'ers. 4-H achievement and clean stall awards presented The Individual Achievement Award is given to an in- dividual or individuals that show exemplary work, ethic and achievement in livestock projects sponsored by the Arden Bell family.This year the award was presented to Lane Bell of the Ranch Hands 4-H club; daughter of Travis and Cori Bell. The Individual Achievement sponsored by theWarren H aJI family is given to a 4-H member that has shown great achievement and accomplishment over their 4-H career. Receiving this award is Bridget Foerster of the Country Kids 4-H club, daughter of Matt and Shanna Foerster. The Seven Rustlers 4-H Club was presented with the Clean Stall Award during the 4-H Premium Sale for the 2014Walsh County Fair.The award is sponsored by the Walsh County Livestock ImprovementAssociation, and is based on the work the members do during the fair to maintain clean stalls, pens, and cages in each barn.The club is then able to display a banner they receive at future fairs. The banner is graciously provided by Sheryl Kjelland.
