Travis was born December 21, 1981, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Tim & Nancy (Ander- son) Rehovsky. He was baptized at St. Charles Catholic Church in Oakes, ND, and was confirmed at Holy Fam- ily of Grand Forks. He graduated from GF Central High School in 2000 and in 2003 received a degree from Northland Tech as an electrician. Travis worked for Bergstrom Electric as a journeyman, and at the time of his death he was a proj- ect manager. He married Amanda Fosness in June of 2008. Together they had a son, Eric. Travis's passion was his kids. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, Frisbee golf, riding snowcat and his Harley. He is survived by his son, Eric Re- hovsky; step-son, Lucas Fosness; mother & step-fa- ther, Nancy & Paul Toutges; sister, Mi- randa (Tom) Lien; step-sister, Jodie (Scott) Krisak and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Travis was preceded in death by his father; both sets of grand- parents; 2 uncles and a great- nephew. **Memorials may be directed to his sister, Miranda for his son's future care. Carl- son, age 69 of Park River, ND passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at First Care Health Center of Park River, ND. Darlene Mar- garet Houser was born June 14, 1948 in Grafton, ND the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Pie) Houser. She grew up and attended schools in Park River, graduating in 1967. Following her education she started working at the Park River Potato Corriparty. She'also worked at Borden's Potato in Grafton, ND, the_Lyric Theater and Dug Out Bar in Park River. Darlene was united in marriage to Cledith Carlson on April 24, 1970 in Park River. The couple made their home in Park River. After their daughter Priscilla was born, Dar- lene spent her time caring for Priscilla until she left home. Darlene was a member St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved to play cards, especially Pinochle, and watching TV. Darlene is sur- vived by her hus- band, Cledith, Park River, ND; her son, Dion (Miyako) Carlson, Park River, ND; her three grandchil- dren: Cordell, Trent and Shantell Carl- son, her mother, Margaret Houser, Park River, ND and brother, Ron (Linda) Houser, Valley City, ND. Darlene was preceded in death by her father, daughter Priscilla on May 25, 2017 and her grandpar- ents. Shimek, age 97 of Park Riv- er, ND passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Val- ley Eldercare Center of Grand Forks, ND. Cora Sophia Ha- gen was born July 8, 1920 in Vesta Town- ship, Walsh County, ND the daughter of the late Goodwin and Edith (Berquam) Hagen. She attended ru- ral schools in Vesta Township and was graduated from Adams High School in 1937. Cora attended Mayville State Teachers College. She taught in rural schools for 14 years. Cora was united in marriage to Alvin Shimek in 1944 and they moved to the family farm. She was a member of the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church. She was active in the Homemakers Club, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Retired Teachers Association. The couple moved to Park River in 1974. She worked at Floyd's De- partment Store and did substitute teaching. She was a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Home and deliv- ered Meals on Wheels for 11 years. She worked on the Election Board and the Walsh County Fair. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and WELCA. "She enjoyed bowling, square danc- ing, knitting and embroidery work. Cora is survived by her son David Shimek, Adams, ND; grandchildren: Kevin, Robyn, Matthew, Russell and Sarah, her great grandchildren: Alex, Dillon and Brooke Shimek, Jordan and Megan Bohlman, Annika, Ava and Auturn Shimek, Olivia Shimek and great great grandson, Daxon Shimek; brother, Ron (Millie) Ha- gen, Park River, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Glenn and son, Harold. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Our Saviour's Luther- an Church of Park River.
