Parents/Guardians, the Pembina Special" Education
Cooperative is coordinating the free fall preschool
screening for the school districts of Drayton, Valley-
Edinburg, and North Border. Parents or guardians
who have concerns about their 3-5 year-old child's
abilities or skills may request this screening, which
may help determine if a child's skill levels are ade-
quate or if further assessment is warranted.

The Fordville-Lankin Elementary School
is searching for a Special Education Para
Educator for the 2021-2022 school year.
Special education paraprofessionals work with
special needs students one-on-one, in a small group,
or in the classroom. Position requiresa high school
, diploma or GED. Responsibilities include but not
limited to caring for a very young student with limited
mobility. This is a full-time position.

Parents or guardians may call their local school dis-
trict principal or elementary special education teacher
for a scheduled screening. Calls can also be made to
Pembina Special Education Cooperative at 265-8080.
Scheduled screenings will be held for the first two
weeks in October but parents/guardians may call the
local school district any time during the school year to
request a free screening.
