Tis- chman Jr., 68 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Ed- inburg and Bemidji, MN passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Valley Elder Care Center of Grand Forks. Lynndon L. Tis- chman was born January 1 1944 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Linden L. and Rosalind (Talaska) Tischman. He graduated fiom Bemidji High School and entered the United States Army. He served from January of 1964- 1967. Following his discharge he returned to Bemidji and worked for the NuPly Factory in Be- midji. He later moved to Edin- burg, ND and Mountain, ND and in 2010 he moved to the Valley Elder Care in Grand Forks. Lynndon was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Edin- burg, ND; the Davidson Ameri- can Legion Post of Edinburg and the VFW Post of Bemidji. He is survived by his brother Douglas Tischlnan, Bemidji, MN; sis- ter Rosemary De- nault, Edinburg, ND; nieces and nephews: Jessica (Jared) Ellingson, :Edinburg, ND; Ali- cia (Bruce) Holm- gren, West Berlin, N J; Jim Tischman, "Minneapolis, MN; Barry (Sonia) Tis- chman and Angela Tischman, both of Bemidji, MN. lte was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Memorial services wereeld Saturday, October 6, 2012. at 2:00 PM at Tollefson Funeral Home of Edinburg, ND. Visita- tion was Saturday tbr one hour prior to the service.
