Thanks to all who sent flowers, gifts, cards and aU those who visit- ed me while I was confined to St. Ansgars in Park River, a n d St. Michacls in Grand Forks. A special thank you to my comrades of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for the large collection of money donated to me by them and many friends too numerous to print here. A big thank you to the Military Order of the Cooties, Pup Tent No. 10, Graf- ton, for the generous check pre- sented to me last Friday. A thank you to the VFW and American Legion Posts of Grand Forks for the many visits and gifts given to me while I was in St. Michaels hospital. Thanks too, to Mrs. Rena Hanson for the use of the wheelchair and to "Ike" Isaacson and Ray Junkin for bringing it up for me. I still have 2 months more work in and out of the hospital to do on my leg but fe1 this thank you could no longer wait. Words could never express my humble and deep appreciation to organizations and every one who have been so kind to me and my family while I have been laid up. All this will never be forgotten. PETERSON Graveside rites were held at Park Center Lutheran cemetery, near Hoople, Friday afternoon for Den- nis James Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Peterson of Ed- inburg. Rev. James R. Sonnenberg, Hoople, officiated. Arrangements were by the Jensen Funeral Home, Edinburg. The baby was born at the Park River hospital Sept. 27, and died the following day. Survivors are the parents; two sisters, Karen and Cynthia, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Byars, Edinburg. One sister and one brother preceded him in death. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Linstad and family of Fargo visited his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Linstad, over Sunday.
