Because you can be fun." online." f Joni Michele Okeson Joni Michele [ Okeson, age 53 of Park River, ND passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Joni Michele Okesonwas born August1, 1958 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of JoAnn (Drevecky) Okeson and the late Mils Okeson. She grew up in rural Adams and graduated from Adams High School. She then attended and graduated from Aaker's Business College. After graduation she worked various jobs in the area until she began working for Welch's Bakery, Park River. Most recently she had been working for Northern Valley Growers, Hoople. Joni was extremely proud of her daughter Tami and her grandson Corban was the light of River, ND; grandson Corban Daley, Park River, ND; mother JoAnn Okeson, Park River ND; brotherMichael (Su Ellen) Okeson,Adams, ND; sister Jill (Tom)Mullen, Gardar,ND; nieces:Lindsay (Barret) Spoonland, Heather Okeson; nephew Ethan Okeson and great nephew Callahan Spoonland. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her father Milo and grandparents. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. at the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church, Adams, ND. Visitation was on Saturday from 5-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Janet Janet Kvamme Kvamme, Lisa (Laine) 70, Minot, passed away Friday, September 23,2011. Janet Marie Olson was born in 1941, a daughter of Edward and Mercedes (Nelson) Olson in Adams, ND. She was raised in the Adams area and graduated in 1959 from Adalns Public School. Following her graduation, she attended Aakers Business College. Janet was united in marriage to Douglas Kvamme and raised their four children. Janet worked at the University of North Dakota for a time, before moving to Minot. She retired from Farm Credit Services after 30 years. Janet took great pride in her Norwegian heritage, studying folk art and volunteering at the Scandinavian Heritage Park. (Gaylen) brothers Wally. Almquist and Patricia (Michael) Wood; thirteen grandchildren; Janet was fondly called tGrantiei by her niece Nicole (Matt) Morrisis children Emma and Jack. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Sharon Troftgruben and Danny, Ronnie and Visitation: There will be no reviewal, however, friends may sign a guest register on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
