Lien, age 69 of Grafton, ND passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at the ARm Hospital of Grand Forks. Sharon Diane Lindenberg was born October 5, 1948 in Hampden, ND, the daughter of the late Edward and Annabelle (Perrin) Lindenberg. The family moved to Hoople in 1950 and Grafton in 1956. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1966. Sharon was united in marriage to Leland An- derson in 1966. From this union two dauohters were born: Shari Anderson Winegar and Lori An- derson Erickson. On May 25, 1978 she was united in marriage to Raymond Lien in Reno, NV. They had one son, Ryan. She worked in nursing homes most of the time, which was a passion of hers. She also helped Ray in the refrigeration business. In 2005, she received a kidney transplant from her brother, Howard. Since 2002, she had fought many cancers; she suc- cumbed to a lung infection on Sep- tember 28, 2018. She loved her family, canning and gardening. Sharon was a selfless per- son and never had negativity. Sharon is sur- vived by her chil- dren: Shaft (David) Weniger, Virginia; Lori (Scott) Erick- son; Florida; Ryan (Heidi) Lien, Park River, ND; ten grandchildren: sib- lings: Leah (Dean) Skjerven, Park River, ND; Wrany (Pat) Linden- berg, Grafton, ND; Keith (Mae) Lindenberg, Salt Lake City, UT; Dennis (Patti) Lindenberg, Ply- mouth, MN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her hus- band, Raymond, parents, brothers: Howard, James, Loyd and Robert. Memorial services will be Sat- urday, October 6, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. at the Victory Free Lutheran Church of Park River, ND. Visi- tation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
