I am not one that loves ehili and I am guessing there are others too that dislike it, but for those of you that do, try these reeipes or at least one of them. Best Ever Chili 2 lbs. ground beef • 2 large ofiions, chopped • Brown the ground beef and onion together. Then add the fbllowing ingredients. 3 tsp. salt • 1/4 tsp. pepper • 2 Tbsp. chili powder • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper • 2 cans kidney beans and juice - 1 tsp. paprika • 1 tsp. basil • 1/4 tsp. cloves • 4 C. tomato juice Mix all ingredients well before adding to ground beef mixture. (If this seems too thick, add a bit of water) Simmer uncovered fbr 30 minutes - Serve hot. Old Time chili 2 lbs ground beef • 1 large onion chopped ' 2 qts, Tomato juice • 2 cans kidney beans • 3/4 C. ketchup •lcan Cream of celery soup • 3 Tbsp. chili powder • 1 tsp. garlic powder , 2 Tbsp. brown sugar Brown the ground beef and chopped onion, add all other ingredients and don't forget the cream of celery soup.' Cook over low heat for 1 hour, stirring often. (This made in a crock-pot works well) Grilled cheese sandwiches served with this is good, makes an ideal meal. Chili 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil • 1 lg. beef stew meat cut in 1! inch cubes • 1 medium onion, chopped • 1 small green pepper, chopped • 1 clove garlic minced • 2 cans (15 ½ oz. ea.)hot chili beans • 1 can (16 oz.)kidney beans • I can (14 oz.)diced tomatoes • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce • 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies • ½ tsp. salt • 2 tsp. chili powder In a large saucepan, brown the beef stew in oil, add onion, green pepper and garlic and simmer until meat is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, Serve hot.
