Sunday was the 42nd Annual Northeast North Dakota Pioneer Machinery Association Threshing Show. Top Right: Ryan Gcodoien gives the Rumely tractor a littJe more throttle. The youngster to the left had the right idea holding the bucket underneath the conveyor belt to gather the spuds. The Norland potato seed was provided by Ron Thompson. A large crowd gathered for free potatoes later in the threshing show. Bottom Right: Alvin Bjomson uses some pretty hefty tongs to pick up the potatoes. Alvin said he got the tongs at a hospital sup- ply store.
