CANCER SUPPORT, GRAFTON
Unity Medical Center's Cancer Support Group will meet in the conference room
at the hospital the first Monday of every month. The Cancer Support Group
will meet at 5 p.m. for one hour. Come and share your story of loss, struggles,
triumphs and tips for coping with cancer with others who are in similar
situations as yours. Support groups are not just for people who have had cancer.

KELSEY'S COURAGE PICNIC, PARK RIVER
This year's Free Will Kelsey's Courage Benefit Picnic will be held at the Park
River Area High School Cafeteria in Park River, ND from 11 am to 2 pm on
Sunday, Sept. 14. The menu will be hamburgers, chips, various side dishes, soda
and water. There will be a silent auction, too.
HARVEST FEST, PARK RIVER
"Giving Thanks with a Grateful Heart" is the theme of the 2014 Harvest Fest
Fundraiser which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Park River Coliseum.
Harvest Fest is sponsored by First Care Health Center with proceeds going to
help purchase Ultrasound Equipment for First Care. Tickets are $20 and are
available at: First Care Health Center; Gate City Bank; Citizens State Bank; First
United Bank; Ye Olde Medicine Center; and Jim's Super Valu. The ticket price
also includes a chance on $250 Park River Bucks donated by Gate City Bank of
Park River. The evening's festivities start with supper at 6:00 p.m. followed by the
