AUGUST 22, 2012 THE PRESS PAGE 9 UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA Area students earn Presidential scholarship from UND GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- William Bata of Adams, N.D re- ceived the Presidential Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2012-2013 aca- demic year. Bata, son of Bill Bata, graduated from Adams-Edmore High School and plans to attend UND in the fall. Nicole Sobolik of Park River, N.D also received the Presiden- tial Scholarship from the Univer- sity of North Dakota for the 2012- 2013 academic year. Sobolik. daughter of Fred and Joyce Sobo- lik, graduated from Park River High School and plans to attend UND ira the thll. In order to qualify for this scholarship, students must have a 3.65 GPAor above and score a 29- 36 composite ACT score. NORTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY PR student awarded NSU ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Connor Solseng, Park River', N.D has been awarded an $11,000 Wolf- PACT Scholarship from Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. Solseng is the son of Tim and Lois Solseng. He is a graduate of Park River High School and will begin classes at NSU in fall 2012. He plans to maior in accounting.
