CANCER SUPPORT, GRAFTON
Unity Medical Center's Cancer Support Group will meet in the conference room
at the hospital the first Monday of every month. The Cancer Support Group
will meet at 5 p.m. for one hour. Come and share your story of loss, struggles,
triumphs and tips for coping with cancer with others who are in similar
situations as yours. Support groups are not just for people who have had cancer.

to the children in our area who may not be able to afford everything they need to
get ready for this fall. School Supply Donations are being accepted at: Good
Samaritan Society and Gate City Bank *We are collecting donations through
August 22nd, and will then deliver the supplies to our local area schools. Each
school will then disperse the supplies to the children who are in need as they see
fit. Thank you for helping with this worthy cause.

The Park River Area Elementary Office will be open August 13, 14 & 15 for
parents who would like to pay school fees (lunch, milk, activity tickets, etc.) prior
to the first day of school. We would like to encourage all parents to try to come

St. Mary's Altar Society will be presenting a salad and dell luncheon with a bake
sale and garden sale at St. Mary's Parish Center on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from

Jason Schroeder Family Benefi Picnic Lunch will be held in the Fordville Park,

This year's Free Will Kelsey's Courage Benefit Picnic will be held at the Park
