growing the size of the baseball boosters. Parental in-
volvement is absolutely crucial to the program and se-
curing help along with funding is needed if we are to
continue with the numbers of players we have now.
Lastly he said, "We have a goal to improve the field
situation. "We take great pride in the fields we have now,
but I fee! we have outgrown what we have. We have
the plans for a new baseball complex that would solve
this problem and give Park River a complex to be proud
of, but we need funding to make it a reality. With all
the renovations that are needed to our current fields, now
is the time to build a new complex that will be there for
the future generations of baseball (and softball) play-
ers in Park River."
The Park Board would like to thank the following
coaches who helped with the program this season. Char-
lie Thompson, Nick Thompson, Tom Magnusson, Will
Magnusson, Casey Dahlen, Jay Thompson, Nic Bene-
da, Brett Omdahl, Ryan Solseng, Aaron Schramm, Trent
Carlson, Esten Beneda, Dan Quinn, and Brent Zim-
merman. The Legion coaches this year were Brady Lax-
dal and Brent Zimmerman.
