River. the daughter
of the late Charles
O. and Stella M.
( enson) Hall. She
attended school in
Lankin and Park River,
graduating from the Walsh
County Agricultural School. She
attended
College in

Countryside Homemakers
group, Bridge Clubs, Walsh
Curling Club and the Hillcrest
Golf Club. She especially loved
to spend time with her
grandchildren.
Janet is survived by her
husband Joel.

She was preceded in death by her
parents.
Funeral services was held
Monday, July 18. 2011 at 10:00
A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church.
rural Hoople, ND. Visitation was
Sunday from 4-6 PM with a
prayer service at 6:00 PM at the
Tollefson Funeral Home, Park
River. ND.
Interment will take place at
the church cemetery.

85 of Lankin. ND
passed away on
Friday, July 15, 2011
at the First Care
Health Center of
Park River.
Helen Pich was
born February 3,
1926 in Perth
Township, the
daughter of the late
Charles and Helen
(Bosh) Pich. She
was raised in the
Lankin area. Helen was united
in marriage to Henry C. Hodny
on November 20, 1945 at Sts
Peter and Paul Catholic Church,
Bechyne. The couple made their
home and rai sed their family in
rural Lankin. ND and later
moved into Lankin. Helen
became a cook for the Lankin
Public School for many years.
Henry passed away October 4.
1999. Helen moved to the Good
Samaritan Center of Park River
in March 2011.
Helen loved to spend time
with her family. She was an
excellent cook, baker and loved
gardening. She enjoyed needle
point, cross stitching, jig saw
puzzles and doing word finds.
She was a member of the St.
Joseph's Catholic Church and
Altar Society, Lankin, ND, Sts.
Peter & Paul Catholic Church
and Altar Society, Bechyne, ND
and the Lankin Senior Citizens.
Helen is survived by her sons:
