Adele Hankey has two of them growing in her yard. In 1962, her folks had gone to Stevens Point, Wis., to visit relatives. When they came home, mother brought back the seeds which are in long pods. They planted the seeds in high tin cans and during the winter months, the trees really grew. In the spring, they were transplanted in her yard and now they are all flowered out and stand 50 feet high. A Catalpa tree is a tree with large heart-shaped leaves, clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers, native to North America and eastern Asia and cultivated as an ornamental. _J Walsh County Gun Club hosts Mid Summer Shoot GRAFTON, N.D. -- The Walsh County Gun Club hosted the Annual Mid Smnmer Shoot on June 29, 30, and July 1, 2012. This shoot has participates from North Dakota, Minnesota, and Manitoba. There are 3 events each day, singles of 100 targets shot from 16 yards, handicap off 100 targets shot from 19 to 27, and doubles that are 50 pairs shot from 16 yards.
