THE WALSH COUNTY PRESS WEDNESDAY, IULY 9, 2014 Pase 7 f PARK RIVER, N.D. -- The 2014 Walsh County 4-H Fashion Revue was held June 26th at the Park River City Hall. Thirteen 4- Hers from Walsh County partici- pated in the Buy and Show, Sew and Show and Decorate Your Duds divisions. Receiving special recognition were: Preteen Buy and Show: Grand Champion - Seth Nelson, Grat on. Teen Buy and Show: Grand Champion - Hayley Fingarson, Edinburg; Reserve Champion- Kaitlyn Nelson, Grafton; Honor- able Mention- Julia Koppang, Adams and Gretchen Brummond, Park River. Preteen Sew and Show: Grand Champion - Sandra Kjelland, Park River; Reserve Champion - Annah Zikmund, Minto; and Hon- orable Mention - Jonah Zikmund; Pisek and Owen Zikmunk; Pisek. Teen Sew and Show: Grand Champion - Michaela Anderson, Grafton. Teen Decorate Your Duds: Grand Champion - Rachel Klose, Hoople; Reserve Champion- Beatrice Kjelland; Park River and Honorable Mention- Kaitlyn Nel- son, Grafton. All participants receiving hon- ors are eligible to represent Walsh County on at the North Dakota State Fair on July 21 st. Narrators for the Public Revue were 4-H County Ambassadors Becky Klose, Grafton; Mikayla Fingarson, Edinburg. Judges for the event were Fern Magenau, Donna Bernhardt and Karen Midgarden. The Spirit 4-H Club decorated the stage in a summer camping theme theme for the pub- lic revue.
