J i lib crlll]le GRAFTON,N.D. -- The Grafton Police Department, in conjunction with the North Dako- ta Bureau of Criminal Investiga- tion investigated a crime ring that involved burglaries, stolen prop- erty, and distribution of controlled substances. The investigation resulted in Travis R. Brendel, age 29, of Grafton, being arrested and charged into North East Judicial District Court on the following charges: Accomplice to Theft of Prop- erty (Class C Felony) Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine) (Class A Felony) Possession of Stolen Proper- ty (2 Counts) (Class C Felony) Possession of Drug Para- phernalia (2 Counts) (Metham- phetamine) (Class C Felony) The investigation also resulted in criminal charges against Kendall S. Feist, age 33, of Bismarck, ND. The charges against Feist are as follows Possession of Stolen Proper- ty (2 Counts ) (Class C Felony) Delivery of a Controlled Sub- stance (Methamphetamine) (Class A Felony) The investigation resulted into the recovery of numerous stolen items, including recreational ve- hicles, which were reported stolen in Bismarck and Valley City, ND. This investigation also resulted in the recovery of and enclosed trail- er, which was reported stolen in the City of Grafton. The Grafton Police Depart- ment investigated this case in conjunction with the North Dako- ta Bureau of Criminal Investiga- tion, Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force, Pembina County Sheriff's Office, Walsh County Sheriff's Office, Barnes County Sheriff's Office, Valley City Police De- partment, and the Bismarck Police Department. Travis R. Brendel is currently incarcerated at the Walsh County Law Enforcement Center, and a warrant has been issued for Kendall Feist's arrest PARK RIVER, N.D.- 2014 marks the anniver- sary of an educational outreach institution that helps encourage and create better living. Coopera- tive Extension was created by the Smith-Lever Act on July 1, 1914, after being signed by President Woodrow Wilson to deliver information from the land-grant universities to the people of the state. This educational branch has impacted and improved millions of lives across the agricultural, home eco- nomics, and youth development sectors.
