GRAFTON, N.D. -- The Walsh County Sheriff's Office now allows the public to share important public safety information anonymously by sending them a secure mes- sage about crimes or suspicious activity in Walsh County via a free smartplarne app or via the web. Developed by tip411, the Walsh App puts a new crime-fighting tool into the hands of the community members of all ages. The Walsh APP can be downloaded for free via the Google Play Store, iTunes App Store, or by vis- iting the Walsh County Sherriff's Website at Apps for both iPhone and Android are available. The App from tip411 enables the public to share an anonymous tip to the Walsh County Sheriff's Office by texting Walsh and their mes- sage/tip to 847411 (tip411). Anonymous web tips can also be submitted fight from the Sheriff's Office website at or at their Facebook page at countyshreiffsoffice. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that emergencies should be report- ed by calling 911. The Tip411 system should not be used in the event of an emergency. Those with questions are asked to call the Walsh County Sheriff's Office at 701-352- 2041.
