Department= Accounting
Reports to: Graffon Office Manager or Corporate Sales Manager
Purpose:
Performs clerical duties related to purchase order processing for the sales of John Deers
equipment, settlement processing to insure correct program discounts on equipment and proper
flow of financial products through John Deers Pathways, and EOUtP, our company business
system.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and process purchase order documents after examining for completeness and
accuracy
,: Verification of payment on all completed purchase orders
Settlement of John Deere products with Deere and Co. in a timely and orderly fashion
Process John Deers Financial retail notes and leases in a timely and accurate fashion
• Electronically file completed/processed purchase orders
Assist in the John Deers monthly inventory verification process
Effectively communicate with co-workers in the organization to answer sales processing
questions or resolve any issues that arise in the process
, Assists other co-workers with related tasks as necessary
,, Potential to add other duties such as answering phones and possible payroll functions if time
allows
; Manage customer Lists and monitor company A/R
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
1-2 years accounting experience preferred
Understands accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts
payable, and budgets.
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet
functions
, Ability to use various computer programs specific to the position
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience required
Compensation:
Starting pay $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience
