Sullivan Dennis R. Sulli- van, age 68 of Park River, ND passed away on Wednes- day, May 14, 2014 at his home near Park River. Dennis R. Sulli- van was born Octo- ber 24, 1945 in Langdon, ND, the son of the late Roy V. and Mac (Nel- son) Sullivan. He grew up and at- tended school in the Hampden area, graduating from Hampden High School. Following his edu- cation, he began working as a technician for Polar Communica- tions. He was united in marriage to Kerry Johnson on October 22, 1970 in Fairdale, ND, and the couple moved to Park River. He re- tired in 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, yard work, and his dogs. Dennis is survived by his sons: Bret (Cheri) Sullivan, Lancaster, MN, Wade (Kelly) Sullivan, Madison, AL, Jed (Tammy) Sullivan, Walhalla, ND, 7 grandchil- dren, siblings: Tim Sullivan, Langdon, ND, Pete Sullivan, Grand Forks, ND, and Debbie (Dave) Zeis, Langdon, ND. Many nieces and nephews also sur- vive. He was pre- ceded in death by his parents, brother Gene, and sis- ter Kay Gronhovd. Memorial services will be Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. "Bud" Skorheim Henry B. "Bud" Skorheim, age 85 of Park River and Adams, ND passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at First Care Health Center. Henry B. "Bud" Skorheim was born January 29, 1929 in Dwight, ND the son of the late Henry O. and Tilda (John- Grafton, Adams Farmers Union Oil Board, and the First United Bank and Agency Board He served as Norton Township Supervi- sor, served on the Adams School Board and was a member of the Hill- crest Country Club in Park River. He is survived by son) Skorheim. Bud married Vema Delle Laithwaite On De' cember 29, 1954 in Edinburg, In 1980 Bud started farming with his son Jay and they farmed to- gether until he retired from farm- ing for over 60 years. The couple moved to .Park River in 1993 and in July of 2013 he moved to the Good Samaritan Center in Park River. ..... ............... Bud and Vema Delle enjoyed spending their winter months in Apache Wells, AZ for over 30 years. He was a member of the Hoff Lutheran Church of rural Adams where he had served on the church council. He served on nu- merous boards some of which in- clude the Lutheran Sunset Home of rheim, Minot, ND; Donald Sko- rheim, Grafton, ND and Dennis (Arnola) Skorheim, Park River, ND, Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth. Funeral services were held Mon- day, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Hoff Lutheran Church, rural Adams ND Visitation was Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River.
