Many of the waivers pay for home modifi- cations to increase a person's Savvy Cont page 5 Patricia Irene Sobolik Patricia Irene Sobolik, age 66 of Pisek, ND, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 atthe Unity Medical Cen- ter of Grafton, ND. Patricia I. Otto was born September 18, 1948 in Prince Albert, Saskatche- wan, Canada, the daughter of Edythe (Beckmyer) Thorn and the late Laurence Otto. The family moved to Neche, ND when she was 8 and she attended school there gradu- ating from Neche High School. Following her education, she was united in marriage to Ivan Sobo- lik on July 25, 1969 in Vese- -leyville, ND. The couple lived and farmed near Pisek. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church and Altar Society ofVeseleyville, ND, and the Pisek American Legion Aux- iliary. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, sewing, craft- ing, reading, working on ceram- ics, researching family history and genealogy, cooking, baking, traveling, and photography. She is survived by her husband Ivan, Pisek, ND, children: Talnmy Sobolik, Nashville, TN; Rory (Gwen) Sobolik, Park River, ND; , Kari (Ryan) Sulli- van, Rapid City, SD; grandchildren: Hudson, Lawson, and Trygg Sobo- lik; mother Edythe Thom, Cavalier, ND; siblings: Ju- dith (Gale) Watts, Saint Thomas, ND; Roy Otto, Bath- gate, ND; Larry Otto, Cavalier, ND; Kathy (Miles) Nelson, Eagan, MN, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Laurence Otto, and an infant son John Sobolik. Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Veseleyville, ND. Visi- tation was Friday from 5-7, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Interment will be at St. Luke's Catholic Cemetery of Veseleyville.
