PARK RIVER, N.D. -- Walsh
County photographer Larry Biri has
been named one of the North
Dakota Newspaper Association's
top award winners in the annual
Better Newspaper Contest compe-
tition.
For work done in the year 2015,
Bid earned the honor of Photograph
of the Year in a competition against
all other weekly newspapers
throughout the state. The photo, ti-
tled "Walsh County Wild Life --
Eagles Battling in Flight," was the
first place winner in the Pictorial
Photo category.
Judges commented that "It's
rare to get a clear shot of an eagle,
