It is said that one gets a craving for a certain food and it is
because of lack of starch or something sweet. It is easy to
satisfy the taste buds for something sweet if it is of sugar, but
starch is something you have to prepare like spaghetti; and
what is better than spaghetti and meatballs. I love them and
you will too!
Spaghetti and Meatballs
3/4 lb. ground beef 1/4 lb. ground pork 1/2 C. grated
cheddar cheese 1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper ° 1/2 C. milk 2 eggs, beaten
Mix all ingredients together, shape into one inch balls.
Brown the meatballs on all sides in hot fat. Pour off fat as it
collects. Add the meatballs to 8 oz. of cooked spaghetti and
pour this spicy tomato sauce that has been simmered for 30
minutes over all.
Spicy Tomato Sauce
1 C. minced onion 1/4 C. vegetable oil 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp.
pepper I tsp. Worcestershire sauce 8 drops Tabasco sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste 3/4
to 1 C. of water
SautC onions in vegetable oil until tender. Slowly mix
remaining ingredients to the sauce mixture.
