Honor My Grandmother
My Grandma collects all sorts of
dolls. Some of them are kind of
creepy. Most of them are BarNes.
She taught my cousin Sarah and
me how to sew. Usually she sews
dishtowels for us. We sewed
American Girl doll clothes. She
sewed my Christmas pre~nt,,which
was a blanket. The blanket had a
Thomas Kificaid photo on it.
Grandma makes us do journ' ing
when we visit. She saves the stuff and
puts it in binders for us. It's a nice
souvenir of our trips to Camp Yoyo.
It helps us remember stories like the
time I ate a bunch of grilled cheese
sandwiches.
My Grandma loves going to yard
sales. She sometimes brings my
cousins and me, giving us each about
$5 to spend. Then we document our
finds in the journal mentioned above.
I love my Grandma Laura. She
has done as much for me as I could
probably do for everybody I know. I
