PAGE 8 THE PRESS , MARCH 9, 2011 The State Class B Boys Basketball Tournament ended with North Star top- ping Grafton 63 to 55. North Star,- Jake Hagler 22, Matt Swanson 8, Daniel Grande 15, and Grant Lindahl 18 oints. Grafton-- Adam Jiskra 7, Nic Lundquist 5, Jake Hanson 21, Thomas Houdek 16, and Cody Drav- land 6 points. Third place went to New Town, who topped Dickinson Trinity 59 to 48. Fifth place went to Fifth place Fargo Oak Grove who took a 70 to 66 lead over Minot Ryan. Seventh place went to Linton-HMB who topped Stand- ing Rock 66 to 39. All-tournament team: North Star: Grant Lindahl, Jake Hagler Grafton: Jake Hanson, Thomas Houdek, Adam Jiskra New Town: Preston Smith, Mike Young Bird Fargo Oak Grove: Shayden Akason, Evan Holt Linton-HMB: Tanner Purintun Minot Ryan: Ben Magnuson. Tournament MVP: Grant Lindahl. Class B senior player of the year: Philip Schanilec, Midway-Minto. Class B coach of the year: Jeff Hagler, North Star. Top: Thomas Houdekfights for the ball in the championship game. The Spoilers fell to the North Star Bearcats 63-55. Bottom left: Spoilers Adam Jiskra drives down the court to beat Linton-HMB's Tanner Purintun. Grafton topped Linton-HMB in the first round 57-46 to advance to the semi-final round. Bottom right: Spoiler Cody Dravland goes up for 2 in the semi-finals against New Town. Grafton topped New Town 52-34 with Dravland earning 14 of those points. Right: Who's got spirit?
