Spencer James has been performing for audiences since he was in high school. After receiving an acting scholarship to Allen County College in KS, he went on to be nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Competition of the Midwest in 2001, and performed for the improv group called "Lighten Up." After college, Spencer traveled to Hawaii and began doing standup at local clubs in 2002. Since that time, he has gained numerous accolades. In 2005, Spencer took his trade to L.A. where he performed at the "Mixed Nuts" showroom and the L.A. II II DAKOTA AIR TRAVELING SHOW, GRAND FORKS Fargo production company Prairie Airwaves has announced that the traveling variety program Dakota Air will be performed in Grand Forks, ND, at the historic Empire Arts Center at 2pm on Saturday, Feb. 16. The live show will be recorded for later broadcast on Prairie Public's statewide radio network. Tickets for the February 16th live performance of Dakota Air are $17 in advance ($20 at the door if available) and are general seating. For tickets, call (701) 746-5500, or stop by the Empire Arts Center Monday-Friday between 9-3pm at 415 Demers Avenue, or any Gate City location in Grand Forks. He was born on September 7, 2012 and was air lifted to Sanford hospital in Fargo to the NICU on the 8th day of life, where he has spent time on a vent.
