There are countless ways toprepare potatoes, what is your - favorite way? Here are some of mine. ,.,. Potato Hot Dish i,., , " 3 qts. raw sliced potatoes • 1 C. chopped onion • 1 C. chopped celery • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef • 1 can cream of mushroom soup • salt and pepper to taste In hot Crisco, brown the ground beef and onions together; when .... browned, add remaining ingredients and bake at 350 degrees until done (about 30 to 35 minutes)" otH ...... Potato Salad Boil: 6 or 8 potatoes with jackets GRAFTON Fry: 1 C. bacon, cut up • Add 3 onions, cut up fine to bacon grease and fry to a light brown. ' Boil up 3 Tbsp. vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over potatoes, " mix well and serve hot. • Potato Salad Dressing 5 eggs • 1 C. vinegar • 1 tsp. salt • 2 Tbsp. butter • 1 1/2 C. sugar • 1 C. sweet cream • 2 Tbsp. mustard ' Beat eggs in double boiler. Add the consommd, tomatoes, salt, thyme, marjoram and basil. Cook this for 30 minutes. Add potatoes and 3 C. water; simmer covered until potatoes are soft.
